James Andrew

James has worked in the commercial property industry for over 25 years since qualifying as a member of the RICS. Having set up the Out of Town Retail and Leisure department at Donaldsons, James moved to the occupational side of the property industry becoming Head of Acquisitions at Pizza Hut (UK) Ltd, Property Director for Cannons Health & Fitness and UK Managing Director at Ameristar Casinos Inc.

James is responsible for Fund Management at AGL, having co-founded two specialist investment vehicles for the specific purpose of advising domestic and overseas investors seeking to acquire UK assets.

In January 2018 James was appointed as Managing Director of AGL, and his new role has seen him continue to work on Asset Management, Leisure and Investment as well as focusing the further development of the business.

James has extensive knowledge of the retail and leisure occupier /investment market in the UK, Germany and Holland from his experience in the occupational sector. He is a chartered surveyor and was formerly an associate partner with Donaldsons.

James spends his down time pursuing a range of sports with his children and trying to maintain his golf handicap.
