Matthew Bailey

Matthew has been with AGL since its formation in 1994, having previously been an Associate Director with Goddard and Smith. Matthew obtained his BSc in Property Valuation and Management from the City University in 1987 and became a Professional Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1991. He is also an RICS Registered Valuer.

Matthew heads up the lease advisory department looking after Landlord and Tenant matters, acting mainly for occupiers at rent review and lease renewal. He is currently acting as an Expert Witness on more than 15 large supermarkets that are at third party determination stage.

He has extensive experience of the rent review process in most commercial sectors and helps corporate clients maximise returns from their property portfolios and reduce their occupational costs.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys eating, drinking and skiing and is a faithful supporter of Fulham FC.
